About The Hole
An extremely demanding par 4. A very difficult semi-blind tee shot followed by a very awkward approach. Make sure you take enough club to clear the ridge at the front of the green. If you do not hit your approach cleanly the ball may run through to the trouble at the back. The green is a marvellous example of a traditional putting area. Suffice to say there are very few straight putts. Named after the public house which sits at the rear of the green. In years gone by refreshments were served to golfers through the little hatchway in the building. Unfortunately current legislation prevents this happening today.
