Hickory Experience 18 Holes

Musselburgh is a course which requires good shot making skills and our Hickory experience will bring you the full flavour of how golf used to be played as you compare your skills to the past masters.

• 9am Welcome in Club house. Bacon rolls Tea / Coffee
• You will receive your authentic hickory- shafted golf clubs in their own unique golf bag for the day. Included will be three complimentary reproduction gutta-percha golf balls specially designed by MOCGC for play with hickory golf clubs to ensure the authentic and unique flavour of the experience.
• 9.30am Hickory demonstration by PGA professional. Learn how to play tradition shots with the hickory clubs. You will be taught the philosophy of tradition links golf and how to maximise the clubs in your bag for making those shots you will need on the course.
• 10.30 am Play nine holes on ‘the worlds oldest golf course’ with Hickory clubs and relive the experiences of past Open Championships.
• 12.30pm Enjoy lunch and relax in our Clubhouse. Compare scores and experiences with your fellow golfers.
• 1.15pm Play nine holes (with your own golf clubs if you prefer.)
• 3.30pm Light evening meal tea/coffee or refreshments from our fully stocked bar
• Relax for the rest of the evening in our friendly clubhouse and take in the genuine atmosphere of a very traditional 19th century clubhouse.
• A tour and short presentation can be arranged by special request.

Cost per person £110 (Drinks from the bar not included.)
Minimum of 4 golfers in party.
